blake maternity photographs

blake and drew were very close to delivering their first child (we’ve since met him and eli is a wonderful little boy).  they wanted to be sure they got some shots to celebrate the pregnancy and to capture some of those last moments before they welcomed him into the world.  it was a beautiful cool day in piedmont park and we had a good time with the shoot.

wow, it’s hard to believe i took so long off from adding anything new to the professional portfolio.  i’ve  had a lot going on at work and on weekends and just hadn’t made myself available for much photography (other than the trips we’ve taken).  anyway, melissa really wanted to get some maternity pics and was just days from her due date.  we didn’t have a lot of room to work with (with snow piled up high outside), but we made did have a good mom and baby to work with, so what we lacked in space, we made up for in joy : )
